Pierce College Welcomes Students Back for Fall 2025
The first day of the Fall 2025 semester on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 brought energy and excitement to Pierce College as the campus welcomed many of its 16,412 students enrolled in 41,785 course sections.
The campus mall walkway was alive with activity as students moved from class to class, gathered to socialize, stopped to take their student ID photos, visited the bookstore for supplies, and lined up for financial aid and registration assistance. The familiar back-to-school buzz reminded everyone that Pierce is once again in full swing.
Faculty and staff were out in full force to ensure a smooth start. Pierce employees stationed across at the Welcome Center, Associated Student Organization (ASO), Health Services, and more greeted students, answered questions, and provided resources to support a strong beginning to the semester.
To mark the occasion, President Aracely Aguiar offered advice and well wishes to students in a video posted to social media. Welcome messages from other college administrators and helpful videos were also posted on social media. Students are encouraged to check out Pierce’s Instagram and Facebook accounts to see these posts and more highlights from the first week of school.
